Prospective Students
Prospective Students may visit the Seminary during either of two annual prospective student informational events: the Fall Ministry Conference or the February Conference on Ministry (held each year over the Presidents' Day weekend), or individually throughout the academic year by prior arrangement. The required personal interview for admission can often be arranged in conjunction with the visit if all application materials have been submitted.

Individual Visits
Individual visits to campus can be arranged by getting in touch with the Office of Admissions and Community Life. We strongly recommend that prospective students visit during the fall or spring semesters so that they can attend classes, worship with the community in the Seminary chapel, eat meals in the refectory, and meet and talk with students and faculty.

Visitors should call at least three weeks before they plan to visit so that arrangements can be made for guest housing and meals. Others interested in visiting or staying at the Seminary for other purposes should contact Poppy Pritchett at ppritchett@vts.edu for more information.

Take Interstate 395 (Shirley Highway) south to Seminary Road, east exit. Continue east on Seminary Road through 6 traffic signals, past the Seminary Post Office, and turn left at "3737." Handicap accessible parking spots are available throughout campus including next to Sparrow Hall, Addison Hall, Packard-Laird Hall and the Scott Lounge/Refectory.

Take Interstate 95 to Interstate 395 (Shirley Highway) north to Seminary Road East exit. Continue east on Seminary Road through 6 traffic signals, past the Seminary Post Office, and turn left at "3737." Handicap accessible parking spots are available throughout campus including next to Sparrow Hall, Addison Hall, Packard-Laird Hall and the Scott Lounge/Refectory.

Take the Telegraph Road north exit from Beltway (exit 176). Follow “Landmark” sign to Duke Street West (Rte. 236). Pass the shopping center with Giant Food and Mastercraft Furniture, then turn right onto Quaker Lane. At the first traffic signal turn left onto Seminary Road. Then take the first right onto the Seminary grounds at "3737." Handicap accessible parking spots are available throughout campus including next to Sparrow Hall, Addison Hall, Packard-Laird Hall and the Scott Lounge/Refectory.

From Interstate 495 (Capital Beltway) take Interstate 395 to Seminary Road exit, proceed east on Seminary Road through 6 traffic signals, past the Seminary Post Office, and turn left onto Seminary grounds at "3737." Handicap accessible parking spots are available throughout campus including next to Sparrow Hall, Addison Hall, Packard-Laird Hall and the Scott Lounge/Refectory.

Take Dulles Access Road to I-66 East (Dulles Access Road becomes I-66). Follow this to Highway 110. Get on Highway 110 (only goes one direction). Follow this to Interstate 395 South (Shirley Highway). Once you are on I-395 South, go to Seminary Road East exit. Continue east on Seminary Road through 6 traffic signals, past the Seminary Post Office, and turn left at "3737." Handicap accessible parking spots are available throughout campus including next to Sparrow Hall, Addison Hall, Packard-Laird Hall and the Scott Lounge/Refectory.
