The Center for Anglican Communion Studies will encourage and coordinate the Seminary’s “overseas links” or “global partners;” and develop and enable crosscultural opportunities, faculty exchanges and residencies for visiting Anglican leaders and scholars. We have said that for the Seminary to have an ongoing partnership at least two members of the VTS faculty or staff should be concurrently involved. A partnership involves crosscultural immersions, crosscultural internships and faculty exchanges. The Seminary, and now through the Center, has pursed a variety of relationships with churches overseas. One of our concerns has been funding for the work of bringing leaders from our partner churches and dioceses to the campus as an aspect of mutual relationship.
