|Part-Time Administrative Assistant|
Virginia Theological Seminary, a graduate school of theology in Alexandria, VA, seeks a part-time administrative assistant to provide 20 hours per week support to the Associate Dean of Chapel in scheduling and planning meetings, drafting documents such as liturgically related customaries, and establishing and implementing rotas for worship.
Duties include: filtering and responding appropriately to incoming requests; scheduling and attending meetings of the Worship Committee, Liturgical Planning Groups, etc.; taking notes and drafting minutes and other documents; establishing and maintaining an efficient and effective system for filling the liturgical rota; and performing administrative tasks including photocopying, producing worship bulletins, scheduling meetings, etc.
The successful candidate should possess previous administrative support experience, strong organizational and administrative skills, knowledge and experience of Episcopal liturgies, strong and collaborative interpersonal skills, and solid writing skills.
