  • Annual Fund Manager
    Virginia Theological Seminary seeks a full-time Annual Fund Manager. Primary duties include: cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of annual fund prospects; preparing an Annual Fund plan; identifying goals and benchmarks for constituent giving; formulating and executing a communications program through direct mail, email, social media, and on-line solicitations; managing and implement a successful Phonathon program; produce Annual Fund giving reports on a regular basis; research and analyze patterns in donations to help identify prospects, and move donors to higher levels of giving.
     
    The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications and capacities: a commitment to Virginia Seminary’s mission; a Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent education and professional experience; proficiency in Raiser’s Edge or extensive experience with similar fundraising databases; demonstrated success and effectiveness in fundraising; experienced in working with volunteers and volunteer groups; capacity to maintain focus while handling multiple, complex activities simultaneously; ability to plan, organize, establish objectives and priorities, and achieve goals; excellent oral and written communication skills. The Annual Fund Manager will conduct an average of 2 off-site constituent visits each month.
