|Director of Youth and Family Ministries, Laurel MD|St. Philip’s Episcopal Church
in Laurel, MD, seeks a part-time (20 hrs/week) Director of Youth & Family Ministries (lay or clergy). This Director will be the point of contact for coordinating the various youth and family ministries, and will help the parish to envision new and creative models of ministry for the future. Director may be involved with worship. The schedule of hours is flexible Monday through Saturday; however, Sundays are required.
To be the primary contact person for Youth & Family Ministries at St. Philip’s Parish. This includes: interacting with children, youth, parents, newcomers, and staff; overseeing the various Christian formation classes that take place primarily on Sunday mornings (8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.); recruiting, coordinating and occasionally training volunteers for all facets of the Children and Youth Christian Formation program; planning and coordinating special children’s programs throughout the year; ensuring that all Christian volunteers attend the required Diocesan training courses. This Director to report to the Rector. The position is not eligible for benefits.

|Children's Chapel Teacher, Arlington VA|St. John's Episcopal Church
in Arlington is looking for someone to do a summer children's chapel. The program would last from 10:00 to 10:40. I would like the children to have a mini-service of liturgy of the word and a lesson (and perhaps activity) that relates to the lesson. Or you could do a generic lesson related to something in the Bible that would appeal to children.

The Episcopal Diocese of Easton is seeking an energetic individual committed to nurturing the faith of our young people for the full-time position of Youth Missioner. The Youth Missioner’s function is to help the diocese, parishes, and the diocesan camp create, develop, and support effective youth ministries – engaging youth from K through college age in the gospel of Christ. This position’s time will be allocated 2/3 to the diocesan youth mission program and 1/3 as a camp programming supervisor.
