| The Second Three Years Program at Virginia Theological Seminary offers three years of post-graduate support to M.Div. and Anglican Studies alumni and alumnae of Virginia Theological Seminary in their crucial apprenticeship years. Funded in part by a generous grant from Lilly Foundation, Inc, the program draws upon the skills of seasoned, trained mentors drawn from parishes and schools throughout the country, as well as a national network of Episcopal congregations designated as congregational study sites. Through a combination of on-campus residencies, mentor support, congregational site visits and funds to underwrite a first continuing education experience, the Second Three Years helps ensure that the newly ordained will remain active in ministry for the long haul. |
