 | Jonathan Michael Gray joined the VTS faculty in 2008. He is currently an assistant professor of church history. Jonathan completed his Ph.D. in Early Modern European History at Stanford University where he focused on the Reformation. He also has two M.A. degrees in history (one from Stanford and one from the University of Mississippi) and a B.A. in honors history, summa cum laude, from Gustavus Adolphus College. Jonathan's first book, Oaths and the English Reformation, will be released in the fall of 2012 by Cambridge University Press. He is married to a beautiful pediatrician, has a joyous daughter, and in his free time he enjoys alpine skiing, hiking, and scuba diving. |
