Anglican Studies

Anglican Studies Program

Through courses and co-curricular offerings in Anglican history, theology, liturgy, and polity, the Diploma in Anglican Studies prepares students for ordination in the Episcopal Church.
This program is for individuals who have received a graduate theological degree. Exceptions may be made for qualified applicants without a graduate theological degree from local or diocesan formation programs. Applicants for this program should be postulants or candidates for Holy Orders or have the written permission of their Bishop to attend.

The application process and materials required are the same as for other Master’s level programs.

Final Deadlines

Applications are accepted throughout the academic year with the following deadlines:

  • December 1 – Priority Round (decision notification by January 30);
  • February 1 – Round 1 (decision notification by March 15);
  • May 1 – Round 2 (decision notification by June 1).
