The hard work of overseeing the various building projects on the campus falls to the Buildings and Grounds Committee of the Board of Trustees. Today the Buildings and Grounds Committee will meet to receive an update on the Welcome and Worship Quad, learn about the current priorities in Maintenance, think further about an elevator in the library, and receive the first phase of the landscape master plan.
Under the careful leadership of Ms. Sissy Poland, this group will explore, discuss, and think through the best way forward for the Seminary in its care of the campus. The stewardship of this campus is not only a fundamental responsibility of the Board, but also a significant percentage of the budget. This committee has important work.
The members of the committee are all volunteers. They take a vacation day and travel significant distances to provide their expertise to the Seminary. If you see one of the members of the committee, then please do take a moment to simply say thank you. We appreciate so much their willingness to do this work.
