It is my practice to meet with every new member of staff. So last week, I had the opportunity to meet Mr. Terrell Whitaker who has just joined the Finance Department. Terrell has a bachelors degree with a major in business administration and computer information systems from Rider University, New Jersey. He worked for a time in Atlanta for the National AIDS Education and Services of Minorities, Inc.; then he moved to D.C. and worked for the National Community Reinvestment Coalition and most recently for Robert Half International.

I enjoyed my time with Terrell. He is thoughtful, interesting and reflective. Among other things, a focus of his work is the cash outlets (1823, the VTS gear shop) in the Seminary. He has almost a decade of financial experience which he will bring to the Seminary. We are delighted that he has joined us.

The finances of the Seminary are complex. We have a small and dedicated department that does remarkable work to keep our finances in order. Terrell is a precious addition to the team. If you are in Bohlen today, then please do drop by and say hello to our latest addition to the VTS community.
