After an extensive national search, I am delighted to announce that Ms. Kerry Hual has been appointed the Director of the Butterfly House. Kerry stepped in as the Interim Director in March of this year; she joined the staff as a teacher in the Butterfly House in November 2012.

Building on Dr. Amy Dyer's focus on staff development and curriculum, Kerry has worked with the staff to choose a new curriculum for the Butterfly House called "Beyond Centers and Circle Time" and for the Caterpillar Club called "Beyond Cribs and Rattles." As the Natural Playground slowly emerges (and please do volunteer to join the build out), Kerry is implementing a new curriculum for the playground under the direction of Chris Lukanich.

Kerry's great achievement is the affection and admiration she has generated. Parents appreciate her competence and are happy to trust their children to her care; staff enjoy working for her; and children hold her in deep affection. She operates with exceptional skill with all age ranges.

Kerry has been in child formation since May 2008; she has a BSc in Psychology and Business from the University of Montevallo, Alabama. She is skilled and experienced and is looking forward to making the Butterfly House the premier childcare facility in the region.

The Seminary is delighted with this appointment. Do please send Kerry an email and congratulate her. We are pleased that Kerry has accepted the position and are looking forward to working with her.
