Some of the stars of Virginia Theological Seminary rarely get the attention they deserve. So today I wish to celebrate and recognize the hard work of our housekeeping team. Supervised by Mr. Jeffri Harre, and led by Ms. Cristina Hurtado, our housekeeping team is responsible for keeping the library clean, the public areas of the dorms, sweeping the sidewalks between the guest houses and the refectory, and most important of all, turning over all the guest house rooms. And turning over a guest house room can be hard work; it includes doing all the laundry, bathrooms, as well as cleaning up the rooms.

Today, Rosa-Ana Portillo has joined the team. She was born in El Salvador and has four children. She knows the Seminary already and is looking forward to getting more involved as she becomes a permanent employee of VTS.

As we welcome Rosa-Ana, we take this opportunity just to say a big "thank you" to our entire housekeeping team. We really appreciate everything that you do.
