We are blessed with a talented set of local adjunct professors, who bring their expertise and offer a variety of imaginative courses that enhance our curriculum. And we are fortunate, we attract the best. Rabbi Jack Moline is known to many of us as a professor here at the Seminary. And I am delighted to share with the community the news that he will be providing the benediction tomorrow at the inauguration of Terry McAuliffe as Governor of the Commonwealth of Virginia.

This is a great honor for Rabbi Moline and reflects the standing with which he is held in the region. As a major center for theological education in the region, we appreciate when our adjunct faculty and faculty serve in these important ways. We strive to build links and connections with some of the finest theological minds in the region - Rabbi Moline is part of that set of connections.

So do please watch the inauguration tomorrow. And let us remember, as we always should, those who have been given the responsibility of leadership in the civic realm.

The Very Rev. Ian S. Markham, Ph.D.
