Kathryn Glover, M.P.A., SHRM-SCP, is the Vice President for Administration and Institutional Effectiveness and Secretary of the Corporation. She joined the VTS staff in 2001. She worked as the Officer for Institutional Effectiveness and Planning and Staff Officer to the Dean and President, Director of Alumni Affairs and the Program Coordinator for the Center for Lifetime Theological Education and Doctor of Ministry Program, before moving into her current position. Her areas of expertise include corporate strategy, program evaluation, and administrative policy. Before coming to VTS, she was coordinator of special events at the Washington National Cathedral.
Ms. Glover received her B.A., magna cum laude, from Wheaton College. She received her M.P.A., Concentration in Nonprofit management, at George Mason University.
She has served as a Program Assistant at the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) and as the Business Manager at the American Cathedral in Paris. Glover has also been a professional cook and caterer, as well as a teacher in El Salvador.
A life-long Episcopalian, Ms. Glover is married to the Rev. Matthew Hanisian (VTS '10) and together they share four children. Her father, Ray Glover, served at Virginia Seminary as Professor of Music and Seminary Organist.
