The Registrar’s primary functions include: registration and add/drop; transcript processing; grade report distribution; enrollment certification; graduation evaluation; and the organization of the commencement ceremony. Transcript Requests

Students may purchase an official copy of their transcript at a cost of $5.00. An official transcript has the raised seal of the seminary and the Registrar’s signature. Written consent from the student and payment of the transcript fee must be received before a transcript will be prepared. Electronic signatures and e-mail communications are not accepted in lieu of written consent.

The Transcript Request Form is available in the "Transcript Request" box located below. The request should be signed by the student and sent with the check or money order for $5.00/transcript, to registrar's office.

Master’s Level Programs

According to the ATS Exit surveys, students have consistently reported that they were Satisfied or Very Satisfied with the way the education they had received at Virginia Theological Seminary has enhanced the skills necessary for their future occupations. Some of these areas included the “ability to preach well”, the “ability to use and interpret Scripture” and the “ability to think theologically”.
Doctoral Programs
Students in our Doctor of Ministry program are expected to complete all coursework and the doctoral project thesis within 5 years of enrollment.  However, due to the exigencies of ministry, leadership and life of these active professionals, extensions can be offered for up to 3 additional years, thus extending the range as far as 8 years.  
Below are calculated completion rates as of August 2015 for students who began the doctoral program in the academic years 2006-07 through 2009-10.
