Tomorrow I fly to England. The Rev. Dr. Barney Hawkins and I are leading a Bicentennial Pilgrimage. Forty-four pilgrims will tour London, Canterbury, Lavenham, Cambridge, Oxford, and the Cotswolds. A Bicentennial is an opportunity for travel. It is a chance to build up our friendships. It is a moment to mark our origins as a tradition in the cradle of Anglicanism. This is one of several pilgrimage opportunities that the Seminary will offer in the run into 2023.
On Sunday night there will be a Bicentennial Event that gives friends of the Seminary an opportunity to support the Capital Campaign. We have thirty-five guests coming. We are excited to hold this event in the Middle Temple Court in London.
All this takes considerable organization, I am grateful to those who work so hard to make these long distant events possible. Thank you to all those involved.
The Very Rev. Ian S. Markham, Ph.D. Dean and President
