Welcome to Campus, Doctoral Students, and Instructors!

Dr. Kane and I are so happy to welcome you to campus. Over the next three weeks, you’ll be taking challenging classes, having stimulating conversations with fellow students and professors, and reflecting on crucial moments from your ministry. At its best, the summer residency is transformational and inspiring, but it can also be busy and a little stressful. We’ve built in time for solitude and contemplation, but I hope you’ll also participate in some of the fun community-wide events we have coming up over the next few weeks. None of them have any homework—but all of them will have consumable treats.

Tonight at 5:45 p.m. in the Lettie Pate Evans Room - The Welcome Dinner
June 25 @ 7:00 p.m. in Addison 101 - The Rt. Rev. Sean Rowe will give this year’s Reinicker Lecture
July 2 @ 6:00 p.m. on the Chapel Patio - There will be an ice cream social to celebrate the contributions of Tim Sedgwick, Ph.D. and the Rev. David Gortner, Ph.D. to the program
July 4 @ 4:00 p.m.—a casual barbecue at the Kane residence. (More information to be emailed out.)

Again, welcome to campus. We’re delighted to finally have you here!
