The eFormation learning community brings together researchers and scholar-practitioners who share their experiences and future-forward ideas about how we can use the latest 21st century tools to respond to the needs of people of faith. These active learners are committed to deepening Christian practices in 21st century faith communities.

We reach out and share in a variety of different ways, in our Facebook group, webinars, Facebook Live videos and conversation, Hybrid Faith Formation colleague cohorts and other online classes, our email newsletters, our online conference and our in-person events. Whatever the methods, we are a community created to show up, encounter new questions and provide tools to equip leaders.

For the third year, the eFormation digital resources and practices online conference occurred on Wednesday, June 5th. Over 60 people attended worship, to learn in workshops, and discuss – all via Zoom. This international event provided opportunities for faith leaders to learn about digital literacies for ministry, coaching and faith formation, how to show up on social media as a progressive Christian, and using current events to inspire prayer and theological reflection. This online gathering also provided discussion groups to help attendees truly apply the presentations to their ministries and create another opportunity for connection.

The eFormation learning community listens to questions to make sure we are actively responding to the ever-evolving world of 21st century outreach and formation. We hope to see your face online or in-person at our next gathering!
