Most mornings my wife makes her way across Seminary Road and stands and waits for the AT2. It is the bus that takes her down to the Metro for her commute into DC. It saves parking at Pentagon City; it is one less car on the road; and it is cheaper.
For a whole host of reasons (some of which are good), DASH has revised the routes. But it does leave Seminary Road as a gap. The AT2 would cease to be. The nearest buses would be the hospital (where you could pick up the 28A and take a journey via Duke Street to the metro) or King's Street, Braddock Lee, where you could take the N4 to the metro.
We have a significant group of employees, many of whom work in the Butterfly House and for MWG, who depend on the bus service. There are some students and families that use the bus. We are inviting DASH to reconsider. We would love for the AT2 to be reinstated. Please join the discussion by filling in the survey here. Thank you.
