Virginia Theological Seminary seeks a full-time Administrative Coordinator to provide administrative and organizational support to the Vice President of Academic Affairs, the Associate Dean of Students, and the department of Academic Affairs and Student Life. Duties include: managing the academic, community life, and department calendars; drafting agendas, itineraries, minutes, reports, emails, letters, and other documents; overseeing the organization and execution of yearly commencement exercises and other similar campus events; preparing, tracking, and reconciling departmental financial requests and statements; and managing calendars for members of the senior management team.
The successful candidate will possess excellent skills in organization and oral and written communication, as well as excellent interpersonal skills. Candidates should also be able to handle and prioritize multiple and complex activities simultaneously in a decentralized environment, and be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite products. Experience with databases and learning management systems preferred.
