Led by Canon Sarah Snyder, Advisor for Reconciliation to the Archbishop of Canterbury, this course will look at re-membering (but not forgetting) the past, re-humanizing those to whom we have turned our backs, and re-imagining potential for a different and shared future.
About Canon Sarah Snyder:
As a trained mediator and theologian who specializes in Jewish-Christian-Muslim relations, Canon Snyder has worked for many years with international communities and senior religious leaders to promote faith-based reconciliation and peace-building. As the Special Advisor for Reconciliation, she works with Archbishop Welby and international leaders to support reconciliation in some of the most difficult situations in the church and the world. She also serves as the founding director of the Reconciling Leaders Network, an international center of reconciliation in the north of England and resources initiatives such as the Reconciling Leaders Network. Prior to her role at Lambeth, Canon Snyder served as the director of partnerships with Religions for Peace International, an organization affiliated to the United Nations. Sarah has also directed the Cambridge International Summer Schools for faith leaders from conflict zones.
