Episcopal Children's Curriculum

Episcopal Children's Curriculum (ECC) is a thematic Sunday school curriculum tied to the seasons of the church year. It was  developed by the Center for the Ministry of Teaching under the direction of the Rev. Locke E. Bowman, Jr. and Amelia J. Dyer, Ph.D.  Although no longer in print, ECC curriculum materials are available for FREE download here on our website. Use the navigation below to find the documents you need.

Age Groups: ECC is available for three age groups: Preschool/Kindergarten, Primary (grades 1–3), and Intermediate (grades 4–6).

Scope and Sequence: ECC divides each school year into four units.

I Late Pentecost (Sept - Nov) Old Testament
II Advent - Epiphany (Dec - Jan) New Testament
III Lent & Easter (Feb - Mar) Baptism/Eucharist/Worship
