Kyle Matthew Oliver is an assistant priest at St. Michael's Church in Manhattan and a doctor of education student in the Communications, Media, and Learning Technologies Design Program at Teachers College, Columbia University. He holds a B.S. and M.S. in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and an M.Div. from Virginia Theological Seminary. Previously, he was digital missioner and instructor in the Center for the Ministry of Teaching. In that position, he was the lead developer of the e-Formation Learning Community, a peer-learning network for digital media ministry skill development. Kyle also developed RCL 524: Digital Media for Ministry, which he has taught at VTS since 2015. He has received grants and fellowships from the Episcopal Church Foundation, Episcopal Evangelism Society, and the Arthur Vining Davis Foundations and is an active member of Forma, Episcopal Communicators, and the Religious Education Association.
