Kathryn Glover serves as the Vice President for Administration and Institutional Effectiveness. She came to VTS as a member of the staff in 2001, and over the course of 12 years she worked as the Officer for Institutional Effectiveness and Planning and Staff Officer to the Dean and President, Director of Alumni Affairs and the Program Coordinator for the Center for Lifetime Theological Education and Doctor of Ministry Program, before moving into the faculty position.
Ms. Glover received her B.A., magna cum laude, from Wheaton College. She received her M.P.A., Concentration in Nonprofit management, at George Mason University.
Before coming to VTS, Ms. Glover was the Special Events Coordinator at the Washington National Cathedral. She has also served as a Program Assistant at the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) and as the Business Manager at the American Cathedral in Paris. Glover has also been a professional cook and caterer as well as a teacher in El Salvador.
A life-long Episcopalian, Ms. Glover is married to the Rev. Matthew Hanisian (VTS '10) and together they share four children. Her father, Ray Glover, served at Virginia Seminary as Professor of Music and the Seminary Organist.
