In preparing its students as servants of Jesus Christ, as lay and ordained leaders of the church, the Seminary has placed theological education in the context of a residential community marked by common life and worship.
On-campus students rapidly develop friendships and begin to make trips into nearby Washington, DC to take advantage of its many cultural resources. Some of these trips are to local churches to experience the varying forms of worship conducted. Countless restaurants, theaters, movies, and stores are found in the metropolitan area.
