IMMERSIVE INTENSIVE COURSES EVERY JANUARY

Immerse yourself in a new field of knowledge, find spiritual renewal, and enhance your skills for ministry and mission with a week-long course at Virginia Theological Seminary. These Masters-level courses offer lay and clergy persons seeking professional or personal growth the opportunity to study alongside VTS students in an intensive theological learning environment. Courses are taught by VTS faculty, adjunct faculty, and visiting professors, and are eligible for CEU credits.
During your stay, enjoy the beautiful eighty-acre campus, a restful retreat for study and reflection in historic Alexandria, Virginia, just across the river from Washington D.C. You will also have access to the Bishop Payne Library, one of the finest theological collections in the United States, and the opportunity to participate in a wide variety of worship experiences. You may also choose to take advantage of our on-campus guesthouses
, providing handsome rooms with private baths, and the nearby refectory, serving excellent food in gracious surroundings.

- Christian Social Ministry: Immersion in Urban Ministry (note: 3 weeks long)
EVENING SCHOOL OF THEOLOGY COURSE (non-residential)
- Ancient and New: The Anglican Theology of Rowan Williams
