We are nothing without students. This beautiful ninety acre campus with a fabulous library and refectory needs students. Our mission is to take lives and enable God to transform those lives into vehicles of grace; this is our purpose for existing.
Recruitment therefore is important. And we do it well. Our Junior Class is 63 students, with a median age in the MDiv of 27. We need to build on this strength. We need to continue to ensure that the Episcopal Church is aware of our programs and opportunities. So today, I am proud to announce the launch of our new recruitment video "Forming Leaders for the Episcopal Church"; it is an eight minute introduction to our ethos and programs.
Do take a moment to view this video. You will recognize many of those who are interviewed. However, more importantly, do share the link with your rector back home, with aspirants who are in the process, with the interested lay person who would love to grow, and with your Bishop and Commission on Ministry. Let us try and send this video viral. May it be watched by thousands around the country and around the world.
Finally, a big thank you to Susan Shillinglaw (who has now moved on) and Curtis Prather. It is a fabulous video, which captures the Seminary very well.
