Thriving in Ministry
Supported by the Lilly Endowment, the Thriving in Ministry initiative has two aims:

     1) To create vibrant peer learning groups for clergy in distinct settings, and
     2) To advance the continuing education of clergy through the support of trained facilitators and mentors.

Our team recognizes adult learners thrive when they have the freedom to identify what they want to learn and then receive consistent coaching and feedback towards those goals. This belief anchors Thriving at VTS and informs the communities we create--peer groups that embrace transition, reinvigorate vocation, and transform relationships.

Simply put, we offer clergy a way to claim the unique strengths they bring to ministry and the vitality they infuse into the church.
Thriving in Ministry creates novel ways for clergy to learn what they need to flourish in their vocation. We are energized by our mission and inspired by the prospect of your participation. We hope you’ll join us in the movement to enrich and transform pastoral leadership.

New groups launch soon! In the meantime, tell us about yourself. Click here to apply for a Thriving in Ministry peer group.
